This photo was our family Christmas photo card taken a few years back at Webb State Park located in North Weymouth. There are so many beautiful places in North Weymouth that it's hard to pick a favorite. This is my family, My husband Jose, son Andrew and daughter Sarah.
I moved to North Weymouth about 20 years ago. It was an affordable place to live, a great place raise a family and within commuting distance to Boston. At the time, I could never of imagined how wise my decision was to choose Weymouth. Over the years I discovered the beaches, rivers, parks, reservations and an area rich in history. We participated in many of the towns wonderful programs including, Weymouth Youth Sports, Recreation programs and Weymouth Public Schools. Many of our summer nights were spent at O'Sullivan Park, Wessagusset Beach, Great Hill, Beals Park or walking or biking one in North Weymouth. We love it here and are proud to call Weymouth our home.
I have been continuously actively involved in our community and understand the important issues facing us today. Including the proposed Natural Gas Compressor ( an issue that not only affect North Weymouth, but our entire region) the seawalls, growing our local businesses, finding ways to encourage new business, keeping our roads and sidewalks safe and maintaining our beautiful parks and history.
My priorities for North Weymouth are very simple. Making North Weymouth the best it can possibly be and keeping our residents at the forefront of what is important. The campaign for District 1 Town Council is not about me or a political party. It's about you, being your voice on the Weymouth Town Council.
I look forward to meeting with you soon.
Thank you for your consideration,
Pascale Burga
